Background
About Johan Siri
Throughout the years I have been interested in working with people. Sociology guided me into that path by broadening my view on social issues and allowing me to understand the world through different eyes. Through my studies I realized the importance of communication, information, tolerance, and constant development of social skills. While getting my undergraduate degree I worked primarily on Customer Service learning how to comfortably communicate with people of all backgrounds. After graduating I was introduced to what a career in education might look like by working in Elementary Education and had the opportunity to practice the skills I gained through Sociology. Learning the impact of education on marginalized communities I decided to focus my career on education. I am currently working on my Master's in Education (M.Ed) for Secondary Education in Social Studies in order to get the skills to properly educate the future generations and engage them as active citizens.
