About John MacIntyre

John is a Senior Executive leader in the Real Estate and Development sector with specific expertise in real estate strategy, alternate governance models for public sector organizations, development and value creation opportunities, corporate and strategic planning while leading multiple transactions. John is a Principal at Cresa Toronto Inc. where he leads the Strategic Real Estate practice, helping organizations develop and implement strategies to more effectively manage their real estate portfolios. Prior to joining Cresa Toronto, John was Senior Vice President at Build Toronto, the City of Toronto's Real Estate and Development Corporation and was responsible for a range of value-add sales and joint ventures in a number of asset classes. He has intimate knowledge of the City of Toronto including the Political and Policy landscape and the Planning approvals process. John is a Director on the Board of the Tarion Warranty Corporation, the Toronto Blue Jays Charitable Foundation, Governor of the Ontario Branch of the Royal Life Saving Society and is a past Director on a number of other organizations. He is a graduate of York University with a Bachelor of Arts, and a graduate of the Directors College and McMaster University Director and Governance Program and holds the Chartered Director professional designation. John has also completed the Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certification and holds the H.R.C.C.C. designation from McMaster University and the Directors College.
