Past Work Experience: During my time as a PM with USACE, was responsible for leading Project Delivery Teams through all phases of planning, design, construction and delivery. Responsible for the development, coordination, and monitoring of project activities such as schedules, budgets, manpower needs, and progress milestones. Work with non Federal Sponsors and stakeholders to fulfill expectations and requirements and to negotiate Federal cost share agreements. Prepare, present and testify on behalf of the Corps of Engineers before state and local governments, contractors, other agencies, and Congress. During my tenure with Deere & Company, I served in several project/program management roles that were Customer Support, Sales, Marketing and Information Technology-oriented. I worked with Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry product managers and dealers throughout North America to understand their business requirements and to develop and deliver solutions to meet their needs. I have achieved the internationally-recognized Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification and serve as President of the board of the Quad Cities Project Management Institute (PMI) Chapter. My education includes a BS in Engineering Science from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point, NY, and an MBA from Saint Ambrose University (SAU). I served 11 years in the US Army, was Airborne and Ranger certified, was an Armor Officer, and served on the only American team to win the Canadian Army Trophy (CAT) competition.
