About John Mikula

John Mikula is a passionate Game Developer who has worked professionally in the video game industry for over 10 years. John has acted primarily as a Gameplay Programmer throughout his career, leading programming efforts for dozens of games released on various platforms including Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, iOS, Android, and even Wii U. His breadth of experience ranges from interactive storybooks to sci-fi action platformers and everything in-between. John is proficient in C++, C#, and the Unity 3D Game Engine. John considers himself to be a generalist Gameplay Programmer but also has a strong interest in both tools programming and 3D rendering. In addition to programming, John has also worked as a Game Designer on many projects in various ways. His experience in the field includes developing game proposals, fleshing out prototypes, and designing gameplay systems. John has also acted as a Game Director, wherein he lead the game design and creative efforts on a major release from Graphite Lab. John Mikula is a hardworking individual that is excited to be apart of the industry that truly inspires him.
