In turnaround and recovery situations I have optimized our people, processes, and enterprise systems by leveraging innovations in Cloud solutions to build the infrastructure that powers hundreds of millions in annual grantmaking around the world.I bring a collaborative work style to my role as a technology leader of enterprise systems planning and services, adding unique value to the organization by:• Driving strategy and execution of project and program management for IT services; • Solving complex business issues by leveraging technology and automation;• Advocating and leading change to enhance the culture and collaboration of cross-functional teams; • Promoting innovation and creative solutions, listening to good ideas from all contributors; • Building technical capacity to elevate IT to a trusted business partner across the organization; • Attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive tech job market; and• Elevating the organization’s reputation as technology leader within our industry domain.Beyond my role as CIO of the MacArthur Foundation I enjoy contributions to the IT community through the Technology Affinity Group, an association of global foundation CIOs leveraging our collective experiences to advance the philanthropic sector. A past Board member of TAG, I am currently serving on the Cybersecurity working group. I am regularly invited to present on emerging topics and issues to this group and others, including FISM, the Peak Conference, and Crain’s CIO Panel.
