About John Morgan

After a grounding in mainstream electrical power engineering, John made a conscious decision to move into the renewable energy sector in the 1990’s and has worked exclusively in this area for the last 25 years. A Company Director for more than 10 years, John has a range of skills and experience as a senior manager including health and safety, staff management and recruitment and the establishment and/or evolution of business strategy.John is an experienced renewable energy project developer with first-hand knowledge of the related disciplines, the EIA and planning processes and particular experience in the construction and operation of a 20 turbine, 46MW wind farm. As an engineer, John is skilled and experienced in the development and delivery of renewable projects He has hands-on experience of both hydro and wind sectors and where his degree background offers a particular depth of knowledge in respect of grid connection and electrical matters.John remains enthusiastic about the renewable energy sector, despite the challenging commercial environment in the UK at present, and looks forward to gaining knowledge and experience in implementing other renewable technologies such as solar both in the UK and overseas.
