About John Vasko

If Jamie can paint a fence in 3 hours, Nam can paint the same sized fence in 4 hours, and Sam can paint the same sized fence in 1 hour, how long will it take them to paint the fence working together? I love Math. I love learning Math. I love teaching Math. I teach because it allows me to keep learning. I teach Math because Math is the language of science, and science is the language of understanding (or ‘overstanding’ if you prefer). I would like to help make Math and Science (and all STEM or STEAM disciplines) more accessible to people, especially those students who might be scared of, scarred from, or still undecided about their experiences with Math. I like teaching Math with games, riddles, and puzzles. I like teaching science through exploration, experimentation and encouraging. My life was changed, and I believe enhanced by Pioneers in the field of recreational Math, like Martin Gardener, Lewis Carroll, and my mom. I would like to continue this legacy. If you are interested in what I do, please reach out to me, maybe we can work together.(256) 0783370931 jvasko@uvei.edu facebook Mr. JJ’s Math Journey instagram mr.jjsmath
