Mr. Davidson serves as an Independent Trustee for two mutual fund families. His past investment management responsibilities have included hands-on institutional portfolio management and oversight of derivative programs. Prior to retiring in 2008, he had over 30 years of investment management experience, including positions as Chief Investment Officer and CEO. For a decade after retiring he continued to publish his Economic Comments, which were e-mailed to subscribers and distributed over the internet via third party publications. Mr. Davidson holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in Mathematics from Boston College, as well as a BA, cum laude, in Economics from Amherst College. He holds the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. He served for three years on active duty in the Navy, including a year on the rivers of Vietnam. After an additional 24 years in the Naval Reserves he retired at the rank of Captain.
