About Jon Adam Ross
Jon Adam Ross is a theater artist and leader with over 25 years of experience in participatory playmaking around the United States. He is the executive director and co-founding artist of Inheritance Theater Project, a national arts non-profit that creates art in and with communities to build relationships across divides. With ITP, Jon has co-created and produced original plays in 18 cities, with over 250 artists engaging over people in a participatory playmaking process that invites neighbors to examine their communities in the spirit of both reckoning and celebration. Jon has served as an artist in residence at various religious and educational institutions, including Harvard Divinity School, Union Theological Seminary, and the Jewish Theological Seminary. And Jon has received fellowships from Cogenerate, Invested Faith, the Covenant Foundation, Upstart, and more. Jon is a graduate of NYU/Tisch and has performed in over 90 cities around the globe as an actor, playwright, and teaching artist. Jon's passion is to use theater as a tool for social change, connection, and empowerment.
