About Jonas Johnson

I currently work as an HSE manager for Prysmian Group, one of the world's largest cable manufacturing and power distribution companies. My duties include environmental data tracking, safety program management, regulatory compliance, and occupational health program management. From 2020 to 2022, I worked at Hill Air Force base as an Industrial Hygienist. While there I performed industrial hygiene services for F-22, F-35, F-16, and C-130 depot maintenance. In addition, I conducted annual reviews on their occupational safety and health programs; including but not limited to HAZCOM, respiratory protection, confined space, ergonomics, and PPE. Before I worked with the Air Force, I worked as an intern for the Barrick Gold Corporation (now Nevada Gold Mines) and WCF insurance. While at these companies, I performed many industrial hygiene and noise surveys, wrote standard operating procedures, conducted respirator fit tests, inspected construction sites, and conducted new hire training for safety and health policies.
