About Jonathan Bierman

I am a highly-skilled digital media production generalist, with a diverse range of skills and experience including: video editing, colour grading, audio recording and sound design, music production (under the name 'Dark Arps'), camera capture, format conversion, graphic design, 2D/3D motion graphics animation, live streaming and web broadcasting. I aim to have a comprehensive grasp of all pre-and-post-production processes. Recently I have expanded my skillset to include 3D CG, procedural design, and rendering, with a particular interest in SideFX Houdini. I am also focused on learning code-writing using JS-like languages such as Houdini's VEX, Google AppScript and Adobe ExtendScript, having recently created a custom-designed production automation pipeline linking Google Sheets, Premiere and After Effects. I have worked for many of the world's most prestigious broadcasters, including ABC News, BBC Outside Broadcasts, Sky News, CBC Radio, and various independent production companies and individuals in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area, including Dekogon Studios (ArtStation Learning series), APTN (Nations at War Paperny Entertainment (Timber Kings), Think Tank Training Centre.
