About Jonathan Brown

As an aspiring cybersecurity professional, I am constantly improving on my industry knowledge through certifications, online labs, and research through articles and YouTube videos. In college I gained experience in areas such as network security, cryptography, machine learning, and digital forensics. I’m actively seeking entry-level opportunities where I can contribute my skills, continue learning, and work alongside like-minded professionals committed to cybersecurity excellence. My desire to work in cybersecurity is mainly fueled by my drive to help people by protecting their data, be they consumers or company employees. I have honed my teamwork, organizational, leadership, and detail-oriented skills through my time as the former Social and Community Service Chair of Theta Tau, plus volunteer work helping run multiple sports events, from Junior USA Track and Field to handball tournaments all over the country.
