I’m a mission-driven global health and development leader with over 15 years of experience designing and scaling transformative programs across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa. My work has spanned maternal and child health, climate-health resilience, global health security, and systems strengthening—always with a focus on localization, innovation, and equity. I’ve led multimillion-dollar portfolios for USAID, PAHO/WHO, Peace Corps, and academic institutions, managing cross-sector teams and partnerships to deliver measurable impact in resource-constrained settings. Whether launching new country programs, shaping national policy, or driving technical strategies at the intersection of health and climate, I thrive in complexity and bring a pragmatic, collaborative approach to solving global challenges. Key career highlights include: • Designing and managing a $40M+ USAID health portfolio in East Africa, advancing locally led maternal health and climate-health adaptation initiatives. • Launching the Caribbean’s first regional climate and health program and fellowship, securing $10M+ in multi-partner funding and building long-term capacity. • Leading the successful establishment and growth of Peace Corps Colombia, overseeing strategic operations, government relations, and staff/volunteer development across 7 regions.
