About Jonathan Jacobson

After I completed 2 years of college studying political sciences and humanities, I immigrated to Israel where I enlisted in the IDF (Israeli Army) under the intelligence branch. My job in the army was to be a tour guide (which was my first job in the Israeli army after basic training, guiding at Ammunition Hill, a military museum in Jerusalem). After the army I was a tele-marketer for birthright Israel. I helped the company grow exponentially first by making over 300 calls a day and then by becoming one of the managers of the company. I then returned to America, I went on to become a certified personal trainer through Hunter College. I worked as a part time soccer coach while I studied to be a personal trainer. I then ran my own business for 4 years as personal trainer and Krav Maga instructor in New York City. Now I am switching careers to be a tour guide in Israel I am currently taking the tour guide course and I am almost finished. I work with Withlocals, a company that hires locals to give tourists an amazing experience in their city.
