About Jonathan Lasnier

Dr. Jonathan Lasnier is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® and trusted practitioner within high performance sport in Canada. He is a Professional Member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, as well as a High Performance Certified Member of Sport Scientist Canada. He holds a PhD in Human Kinetics with a specialization in Sport Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Dr. Lasnier supports Olympic, Paralympic, and NextGen athletes and coaches through his work with the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario, Institut national du sport du Québec, and Canadian Centre for Mental Health and Sport. He provides mental performance support to National Sport Organizations, such as Swimming Canada (i.e, Olympic and Paralympic programs), Cycling Canada (i.e, Track, Road, Mountain Bike, and BMX), and Canada Basketball (i.e, Senior Women’s National Team). His expertise also extends beyond sport, having worked with performing artists and professionals operating in high-stakes, high-pressure environments. A strong advocate for the advancement of mental performance in Canada, Dr. Lasnier serves on the Managing Council of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association as Treasurer.
