About Jonathan Obrien

I am a senior at Texas A&M University looking to begin my professional career in human capital consulting. I am looking to bring my skillset to a people-centric workplace. I graduate in May of 2021 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology.I have a unique skillset ranging from basic principles of engineering to various psychological and human resources concepts. Originally starting college as an engineering major, I got to solve complex problems in a team-based environment. After later switching my focus to psychology, I received better insight into everyday social interactions, mental processes, and even rigorous statistical studies and procedures. In addition, I received foundational human resources principles by being particularly interested in organizational psychology. I enjoy being adaptable to a variety of experiences, and believe these broad skills have prepared me to handle a wide variety of tasks in my professional career.As a research assistant over the past two years, I received hands-on experience and the opportunity to practice analytical skills and communicate my findings. As a campus ministry intern, I developed communication and leadership skills by initiating monthly social events and hosting hundreds of students at formational events. I am passionate about wanting to help individuals and organizations by having the opportunity to implement efficient management strategies during my career.
