About Jonathan Osborne

I'm a computer scientist, game designer and evangelist for ubiquitous computing. I consider myself a global citizen; Please don't let national borders stop you from contacting me. I've worked with game companies in Montreal, Iceland and Sweden. I worked as a web developer in Australia. Specialities: I consider myself a strong team leader with enough business savvy to get things done. I'm experienced at game balancing, economy management and meta-game design. Excellent programming skills: I have a preference for C# and Unity, or for server-side Javascript with node.js. However I'm able to work with any language and have a strong background in system architecture, UX, and web engineering. As a computer scientist I've focused on web architecture and interaction design. As a game designer I work primarily with virtual worlds and online economies. As a technology enthusiast and all-around nerd I want to use technology to make a tangible change in the world; using games to teach, solve real problems and connect people. I want to use ubiquitous web technology to make this happen; integrating humanity into technology and integrating technology into our everyday lives.
