About Jonathan Thalblum

Hey! I'm Jon; I was born and raised in the Bay Area, California, but I currently attend Arizona State University, pursuing a degree in Film and Media Production with an emphasis in Directing. Since I was little, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry, but I didn’t know what exactly I wanted to do at first. My passion for creative storytelling and filmmaking began in high school, which led to a goal of surrounding myself with great people who have great ideas, and to learn more about the creative process. When my sports endeavors came to an end, I wanted to find a career path that utilized the same effort and skillset. Through filmmaking, I can impact others in a positive way, and lead with a group of talented individuals that all have the same overarching goal of making a difference in the world. The art of storytelling through a visual medium is a crucial part of my life. I'm constantly striving to express meaning in my work to emphasize the art that filmmaking continues to be.
