About Jonathan Wang

I am a highly motivated and self-managed individual, who is goal-driven, especially thriving in time and resource-limited environments. I am equally effective whether I am required to work alone or in a team, working/managing across different skill sets/location. As a project manager of a small-scale publishing department and due to the small-scale I was able to undertake various roles, which range from providing FQA & LQA support, localization support to formulating marketing strategies. Also, by utilizing my extended project management experiences in CG film production, I oversaw directing trailer production and outsourcing procurement management. All these lead to the successful launch of 7 titles in the past year. My career has been centered on client-focused businesses with the approach of consistently been to take time to distill a client’s true needs. Due to our vast catalog of around 100 titles, there was a lot of overhead with current management for our partners. I took the initiative to go through the current management system and identified issues along with applying new methods. As a result, within half a year, I was able to reach the baseline of selling units for 80% of the games, which not only increased our revenue but also led us to better client rapport and retention. It is crucial to be able to understand the cultural context of customer expectations and regional sensibilities; being multilingual has helped me gain unique insights that others might otherwise overlook. My language abilities and experiences living across Asia and the US have meant that I can confidently say bridging cultural divides a strength. My language skills helped me communicate with business partners all around the world without issue, I was also able to work with team members across the world efficiently, which led us to create stronger bonds within the RPG Maker community and to explore new fields in various of different countries. By combining all the experiences, I believe I am ready to undertake bigger challenges and bring more game titles to players across the world to enjoy.
