About Jonathan Wyand

At Disney Live Entertainment my role focuses on driving projects, understanding scope, formulating project budgets, and being at the center of schedule creation. My philosophy is rooted in being an active member of the team that the Cast feel they can approach with any topic and receive follow through. Most important to me is looking big picture, being grounded, and calm in all situations and decisions.I have a technical aptitude and understanding of systems that have allowed me to troubleshoot and quickly find solutions while under pressure to deliver. Looking big picture and understanding the scope of the show creative, budget, and timeline allow me to make decisions in partnership with the team. Being transparent about deadlines and anticipating challenges empower me to suggest alternative solutions that positively impact the process. What keeps me excited to come to work every day is the world class entertainment that we are delivering for our Guests around the world. I feel that my operational and production experience have given me the skills to be a big picture thinker allowing me to drive results and success with the Team. Through various shows and spectaculars I have gained experience leading teams of just a few to over 80. Through these experiences I have responded to and dealt with emergency situations, worked with pyrotechnics and special effects, and created an environment where Cast feel welcomed to name a few. My current experience and education provide me with the skills to be a valuable and versatile member of the team while always striving to grow and continue learning.
