About Joni Spring

Having worked within a senior clerical/administrative role for 16 years, I am an expert when it comes to creating accurate documentation, dealing with the public and offering a discreet and professional service to multiple stakeholders. With previous experience as a TEFL tutor, luxury hotel receptionist and tour guide, I am all about ensuring the best possible experience for the customers and clients I serve. I do this through being adaptable enough to deal with any challenges thrown my way, communicating when things are going well (and not so well!) and using my technical expertise to identify molehills and prevent them from becoming mountains through effective business process improvements and being unafraid of facing challenges head on. My role naturally requires me to be detail oriented and I am a stickler for meeting deadlines; preparation is key. I love working in a team setting and turning my hand to different tasks – variety is key for me. This has led to me being a super-user of internal IT/HRIS systems at Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and planning and coordinating events – from work social outings to supporting wedding planning teams at Muckross Park Hotel. My work experience across the public and private sectors has ingrained in me a flexible approach. I am always seeking opportunities to learn and drive improvements to working processes, resulting in increased efficiencies and lower costs. From TEFL tutor, to receptionist, to tour guide, to senior administrator; my route to where I want to be hasn’t been linear, but it has given me the skills and attitude to be able to deal with the most complex of clerical problems!
