Background

About Jordan Wakelin

I have been a part of the team at my local Church in Bundoora, UniHill Church, for over 7 years and have had a variety of different roles at UniHill Church including; Youth Pastor, Operations Pastor and I now currently serve full-time as the Assistant Pastor. As Assistant Pastor I am responsible for working with multiple department leaders, both volunteers, and staff, across both campuses. I also assist in and help develop, implement and coordinate successful events, both online and in-person on various scales (both large and small). Previous to entering full-time ministry I had been involved in the NGO sector for over 6 years with my roles focusing on Relationship Management. During my time at Open House I have successfully developed and implemented a holistic organisational fundraising strategy which has included actively engaging with diverse stakeholders including LGA, Philanthropic, and other businesses to fund the work of Open House. In my spare time I love playing guitar, being creative, enjoying long motorbike rides in the hills of Victoria, going on adventures with my wife and son, or getting lost in a good book, or two, or three.
