About Jos Menting
Starting off the career on a power station the bases for a good understanding of the process and the I&C domain was obtained. Subsequently many active years in engineering and commissioning lead to an integrated knowledge between process and control. Working for different companies and in different countries put the aspects of several cultures in life. The responsibility for a complete I&C retrofit of a gas-fired power plant broadened the professional experiences with additional management aspects. It then became time to explore new horizons at ENGIE Laborelec. Being responsible for projects, varying from explorative to direct implementation in the I&C domain, my search for domain supporting techniques and tools is served. Leading the I&C team for many years and the creation of the Industrial Cybersecurity department were great achievements. Winning the Group's Value Creation Award was the cherry on the cake. Finally, the creation of my company, TISSAD Advisory is my latest achievement. Specialties: Wide understanding of process automation systems and the Human System Interface.
