About Jose Neto

I am a EfW, renewables, power and infrastructure asset management leader with significant international exposure and Board experience with several companies. My expertise encompasses helping profitable and strained assets improve performance safely, sustainably and within controlled risk. My key strengths include leading power and other infrastructure asset management, with oversight of large renewable and conventional power generation portfolios across the life cycle of profitable and challenged assets. Currently, as Technical Director and a direct report to the CEO, I have lead the commissioning of the 7 units affected by the 2023 incident. I support and lead the operational improvements to asset management to stabilize and improve operations, ensuring an appropriate balance of risk, performance and cost. Previously, as a VP Engineering & Maintenance, seconded to Taiwan as a direct report to the CEO and oversaw the Marubeni fleet in Taiwan, 2 CCGT plants and a solar development and operation company. I also supported business development efforts to expand the fleet (renewables - BESS, solar, wind and CCGTs). Critical expertise covers: Asset Management (physical assets) Project Management Training & Development Budget Management O&M Mobilisation Stakeholder Management Outage Management Risk Analysis / Management ISO 55001 Contract Management (LTSA, PPA, etc.) Power Generation Technologies SAP-PM Some of my successes: In my current role, I led the commissioning of 7 incinerators following the incident in 2023, ensuring the recovery of the cash flow to the company and the return to heat supply. In my previous position advocated for the return to service of 2 units to restore cash flow to the company, which returned them to service in only 3 months after the accident, easing the recovery process of the destroyed unit and specified and negotiated GTG rebuild contracts. As Board of Directors Supervisor, I successfully completed technical negotiations of potential repowering OEM proposals and oversaw multiple planned and unplanned outages, facilitating speedy recovery of the operation. In addition, I risk evaluated major CapEx producing relevant savings and an investment at acceptable risk. In an earlier VP O&M Support International role, I led cost improvements through operational enhancements and CapEx adjustments, ensuring US$3.5M of sustained annual savings with controlled risk at a CCGT plant in SE Asia. I also reviewed water desalinisation and transport project in Chile, making relevant initial CapEx savings.
