Seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in Finance and Reporting. For the past 2 years, I have been working as senior analyst for the Office of Sponsored Programs at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. This transition from hospital facility finance sector to the research grants sector has been exciting and rewarding. My current responsibilities are centered around centralizing data from many applications across multiple platforms (Oracle SQL Developer & Microsoft SQL Server) for financial reporting and daily operational needs. I truly enjoy the challenge of building custom reports and analytics for department heads. Each request is unique and rewarding. Other applications that are frequently utilized include Tableau, OTBI, and MS Access. Previous role as a Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst in the Patient Financial Services Department in a large hospital setting: This required me to have a wide range of skills. I have very strong analysis methods that include the usage of PeopleSoft Financials, HURON, SQL, Epic, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word and MS Outlook. Additionally, some of my titles have included "Super User","Subject Matter Expert","Core System Trainer","Applications Administrator" and "Project Coordinator". Working in a fast-paced demanding environment has molded me into a well-rounded and critical team member within Revenue Cycle Team. Some of my experiences include designing security tokens for specified User Groups. Tailored Soarian Financials to custom fit Winthrop University Hospital. Generating SQL queries to be made into SSIS packages that can either be scheduled and published via OMS routing or made into Crystal Reports to be published via Web Publishing. These analytics impact billing & finance policies that also includes internal audits that identify and mitigate underpayments caused by contractual misinterpretation and invalid denials. All of these processes are performed in order to maximize reimbursement, efficiently lower Accounts Receivables, speeds up Revenue Cycle and analyzes high volumes of financial data to determine if critical errors were made in the coding process.
