Experienced Design Director with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. An engaging individual who builds relationships across multiple levels with current and prospective clients, customers, and internal teams to promote initiatives that will drive growth for both the company and its partners. I work in a collaborative manner that recognizes the talents and strengths of the team, by enabling and empowering to help their growth. I oversee nearly 400 projects, annually, supporting a broad and diverse array of needs, scales, and complexities. From small coffee shop retrofits; to full servery/food court renovations; to new brand development; to marketing support in Business Development and RFP efforts, I see a wide range of food & beverage projects. Reimagining the dining experience for existing spaces requires an understanding of trends in the food and beverage industry, and projecting their trajectory. It requires a “food forward” design and its lasting impact on the consumer experience - first impressions are everything. It requires an ability to clearly communicate and present these ideas, thoughts and methodologies that are developed collaboratively with chef’s and designers. I have a wealth of experience as a Principal Architect, as well as a Food Service Consultant. Relationships are vital, both internal and external, in assuring your project is a successful project And, there will always be a little levity along the way.
