Background
About Joshua Ginsberg
After more than two decades leading programs, overseeing campaigns and building brands and partnerships within nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies, I am intentionally transitioning into a career in education. I currently serve as a long term substitute 10th grade world history teacher at a local high school, bringing a real-world global perspective, structured thinking, and facilitation experience into the classroom.Throughout my career, I consistently gravitated toward learning and development — designing instructional resources, overseeing leadership development programs, and facilitating interactive training workshops for diverse audiences. Teaching builds on that foundation: guiding students as they analyze and evaluate complex ideas, narratives, and information to develop informed and thoughtful perspectives.I am deeply committed to supporting Israel and strengthening the Jewish community. This passion has been a constant throughout my journey, from student leadership roles in college to early professional work focused on advocacy, education, and community engagement — and sustained through ongoing volunteering and meaningful community-building. I aim to help students explore identity, heritage, civic responsibility, and global citizenship with thoughtfulness and intellectual curiosity.I bring to the classroom a background in international relations, political science, and business, along with extensive experience in partnership development, program design, and engagement. This combination allows me to provide students with both real-world relevance and structured, meaningful learning experiences.I believe classrooms should be places of inquiry, respect, and connection. I am grateful to be building this next chapter in service of students and the community.
