About Joshua Wagner

My first job experience was as a Shotgun instructor at Babcock Hovey summer camp during the summer of 2016 where I instructed young scouts on the proper safety of firearms and accuracy to achieve their Shotgun merit badge. My second and more long term job during my Senior year of high school was at the Rusted Pine woodshop where I conducted fine wood working and assembled wooden home décor items such as blanket ladders, Shotskis, tables, and more. I graduated High School from Redjacket in 2020, that same summer I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout after progressing through the program since Kindergarten. From August 2020 to June of 2021 I was a Union carpenter apprentice where I learned how to drive many different types of equipment, and learned how to construct buildings from start to finish. Layout, Framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and doors are some of the skills I possess. Construction wasn't a good fit for me. I then applied and began to work at Lowe's as a Merchandising Service Associate, my direct objectives are to maintain the departments throughout the store ensuring everything is organized, and accurately labeled. I drive the different power equipment within the location, as well as executing projects assigned every week. I was promoted in April of 2022 to the department supervisor of Tools, Hardware, and Home Organization. I manage anywhere from 15 associates, 30 aisles, and over two million dollars in product. I conduct multiple audits on the product within my aisles, and ensuring all of my associates are up to date on and properly trained. Since then I have been promoted again and now oversee Flooring and Home Decor where my Flooring department makes more than by itself every month. This has come with an 8% comp, and over $2.8 million in sales. After rebuilding the team, employee morale has increased greatly since my upper management team hand selected me to run this department. Each week I conduct 14 different reports to ensure the correct dollar amount of product in both of my departments. I strive to achieve my Associates degree from Monroe Community College, and get my foot into the door of the IT industry to work with efficiency and excellence
