I have over 15 years of experience working in various roles within the social services industry. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral issues, and pregnant or parenting youth. I have excellent communication skills and am comfortable liaising with case workers, clinicians, counsellors, youth workers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure clients receive the best care possible. In my most recent role as a House Supervisor at Chimo Youth Retreat Centre, I was responsible for supervising a team of employees, managing their files, and supporting their career aspirations, while also effectively communicating with clients' support networks. In addition, I have strong organizational and planning skills, having managed and developed programming based on clients' individual needs and abilities. I am experienced in crisis management and intervention, and have a solid understanding of case management and strategic planning. Overall, my extensive experience and skill set make me an excellent candidate for roles within the social services industry.
