About Juan Guerra

Juan Guerra is the Director of Ministry in Spanish for Saint Agnes Parish in West Chester. Prior to this, Guerra founded Bella Solutions, LLC, a real estate management company. Previously, Guerra served as Assistant Director of Ministry for the Malvern Retreat House. Prior to, Guerra served as Executive Director of Respect Life Ministry for the Archdiocese of Miami. Guerra also worked as CEO, Executive Director of ACLAMO Family Centers, an organization that provides economic, educational, health, social, and cultural programs. Guerra has also served as Regional Director of Our Little Brothers and Sisters and Friends of the Orphans, Florida, an organization that supports homes for orphan and abandoned children throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.Born in Havana, Cuba, Guerra and his family settled in Suburban Philadelphia where he obtained an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts the Tyler School of Art, and a Graduate Degree from Hahnemann Medical University. He has worked as a therapist and director of several non-profits for over 25 years.Guerra is the recipient of numerous awards, among them the Lynch Award, Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos Award, The Spirit of Philadelphia Award, The Young Adult Groups Outstanding Service Award, the Regional Friends of the Orphans Appreciation Award, the HIAS Community Partner Award, and in 2014, the Montgomery County Bar Association's Citizen's Public Service Award, and Impacto and PhilDiversity's Delaware Valley's Most Influential Latinos Foundation Award.
