About Julia Wilder

As a K-12 Education Policy Associate at Children First, I work with a team of dedicated professionals who share a common vision of creating a more just and inclusive society for the children and families of Pennsylvania. With over five years of experience in the non-profit field, I have developed a strong expertise in youth development, policy analysis, program evaluation, and advocacy. My mission is to build policies that serve the diverse needs and interests of the communities I work with, by engaging with stakeholders, conducting research, and crafting recommendations. Some of the key issues I focus on are early childhood education, juvenile justice reform, trauma-informed approach, anti-bias anti-racist education, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and families, and contributing to the social change that Children First strives for.
