About Julian Young

I deliver transformational individual and team coaching, supporting my clients to upgrade their inner operating systems, enabling them to thrive in highly complex, volatile, and uncertain environments. I also coach couples to strengthen their relationship and generate a vision for the life they are wanting together, all while developing the awareness, skill, and practice to navigate through the challenges of their partnership. I hold a Master of Public Administration degree and I'm a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, Certified Team Performance Coach, and Organizational Relationships Systems Coach. I am also certified in a variety of leadership assessments, including the Leadership Circle Profile and Prosci change management tools. Using my unique developmental approach and drawing on new discoveries from the field of neuroscience, I work with leaders, partnerships, teams, and organizations to generate the conditions for optimal engagement and success and high performance, while ensuring the journey to get there is inspiring and filled with aliveness. As an artful facilitator, I specialize in the design and delivery of game-changing strategic planning and all manner of group engagements and people gatherings. For more than 25 years, I have supported the transformation of people, organizations, and systems. I've served as a leader in emergency services, health care, community, the public sector, and a variety of volunteer boards. I'm passionate about bringing out the absolute best in people, teams and organizations! It's what fuels me! As an experienced educator, I taught at Dalhousie University for over a decade and served as faculty in a variety of distance education and certification programs across Canada. I believe in service to my community. I'm a former RCMP Auxiliary Constable and First Responder. I'm passionate about mental health and wellness and was the co-recipient of the Mental Health Foundation’s 2020 Partners in Our Vision Award. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Landing Strong, a non-profit organization serving military members, veterans, and first responders injured as a result of workplace trauma exposure.
