A Dental Hygienist by training which led to a successful Dental Insurance Executive with direct experience in provider network contracting, recruitment, credentialing, compliance with a focus on building relationships. Also a community leader seeking to create and promote an inclusive community empowered by intentional diversity in every form imaginable. Corporate Career: At Delta Dental, she provided leadership, direct planning, organizing and controlling all functions of the PR department, establishing & communicating corporate and strategy. Key contributor and participant in leadership strategic planning. Pursued new and innovative ideas to expand revenue opportunities, establish sound work programs, proactive education and philosophies that contributed to overall financial and operational success. Represented the corporation at dental and other related meetings and functions that aligned with local and national initiatives, missions, goals and vision; Sought strategic, personal and professional benefits from selective community and statewide involvement; Responsible for development and coordination of a Child Abuse Prevention program in Kansas called P.AN.D.A. Met with dentists, clinicians, hygienists, consumers, advocates and community leaders on a one-to-one and/or group basis for the purpose of nurturing strong communications links within and outside dental community. COMMUNITY: Serves as a leader within the business community and participates in relevant community activities.
