About Justin Ainge

I’m an operations professional who enjoys turning complex operational challenges into practical systems that work for both organisations and the communities they serve. In my role with the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board in Western Australia, I work across recruitment, workforce capability, compliance, and operational policy. This includes leading recruitment campaigns, coordinating training across multiple cemetery sites, and developing governance frameworks that support safe and respectful cemetery operations.Much of my work focuses on balancing operational needs with community expectations - whether that’s developing safety programs, improving internal processes, or supporting teams to deliver consistent services across sites. Before moving into the public sector, I spent many years in aviation, hospitality and tourism and also ran my own business. Those experiences gave me a strong grounding in customer service, people management, and commercial thinking, which continue to shape how I approach my work today.
