About Kamran Fallahi

Kamran is a Quality Engineering Lead/Senior Structural Engineer with over 28 years of experience consulting engineering services and construction management in over 200 successful heavy industrial, mining, power generation, Hydro, utilities, rail and transit, infrastructure, commercial and residential projects. Possessing over three decades working as a structural engineer, he contributed to multiple mega multidisciplinary projects, managed design teams, and performed mentorship to develop various series of projects, including feasibility and constructability studies, preliminary design, detail design through bidding processes, construction specifications, established project schedule and construction site support, field inspection and monitored contractor performance to meet satisfactory contractual obligations, quality assurance, oversee site safety, and work progress. Kamran has extensive experience in quality management systems and intradisciplinary design processes and has experience developing project quality policies and procedures and conducting Quality Assurance to oversee the design process over the project life cycle, evaluate design steps, coordinate with project stakeholders, design change procedures, construction specification, support project owners to hire contractors and procurement, response to requisitions, technical bid evaluation, rapid conflict resolution, claim management, and regulatory compliance and standards. In addition, he has extensive experience in establishing project time schedules, site support, monitoring contractor performance to ensure contractual obligations and quality assurance, safety, work progress, and attendance of project meetings. Kamran has strong knowledge of engineering regulations, codes, and standards such as the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), Ontario Building Code (OBC), National Building Code (NBC), The Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS), Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), AISC, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, IBC, OPS, TAC and specific transit projects specifications such as TTC and Metrolinx Design Requirements (DRM/DS). He has developed the concept and detailed design and specifications, established project schedule site support, and monitored contractor performance to meet satisfactory contractual obligations, quality assurance, safety, and work progress. He has coordinated all phases of projects, including feasibility and constructability studies, preliminary design, detail design through bidding processes, and field inspection.
