Kara has over 20 years of experience and is passionate about sharing her broad based accounting and business advisory knowledge to help companies solve problems and improve processes. She is known for her collaborative and practical style of working with management to resolve tough issues, as well as her strong organizational skills and expertise that drive efficient audits for her clients while enhancing quality and anticipating client needs. Kara advises both public and private companies across a variety of industries including chemicals, alcohol beverage, consumer markets, and pharma. Through these experiences, Kara has developed trust-based relationships with her clients and has been recognized for the quality of her technical capabilities and her communication and teamwork. Kara has a strong network of overseas contacts in PwC's global practice through her experience working with multinational companies and a secondment in Amsterdam. Kara combines her passions for music and education as a trustee for Kaufman Music Center in NY and has been a volunteer with Accounting for International Development, the Women’s Foundation of Central Ohio, iMentor, and Junior Achievement. She advocates for diversity, inclusion, and equity as a leader in PwC and as a member of CHIEF, a female executive network to strengthen women’s leadership.
