About Terri Hays

With over 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I am a seasoned credit enthusiast who loves detecting and remediating vulnerabilities within the financial services industry. I have a proven track record of achieving operational efficiencies, enhancing workflows and processes, and managing credit risk, while ensuring compliance with agency and investor guidelines. As the former SVP of Operations - Credit at GenHome Mortgage Corporation, I led several departments in delivering favorable and profitable results, while operating in a "Better Way". I successfully leveraged outsourced resources, developed and implemented incentive plans, created and trained new roles, and maintained strict service level agreements. I also proficiently handled dispute or mitigation of post-closing defects and repurchase prevention. As a proud member of Chief, a private network of women leaders, I collaborate with and learn from other accomplished executives in various fields and empower and mentor other women in the mortgage industry. My mission is to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and diversity.
