My professional career began at OverDrive, Inc. where I managed and planned over 100industry-related events nationwide while coordinating all event logistics including: staff selection,vendor communication, travel logistics, marketing campaigns and budget tracking. My mostmeaningful role involves the Digital Bookmobile, a community outreach vehicle that spans NorthAmerica speaking to the community about the services their libraries can offer. I consider theknowledge I have gained irreplaceable and extremely valuable and thus, expanded my position bytaking a part within the Knowledge Services department as a corporate trainer. Following my employment at OverDrive, I became the Marketing Specialist at Fives Cinetic,a manufacturing company driven on turn-key processes and custom engineered tools. In my role, Idesigned and implemented new editorial advertising campaigns. In addition, I managed, tracked, andincreased the online visibility of the company through online media. I took the lead to oversee thedevelopment, implementation and copy editing for the Fives corporate website and concentrated ondeveloping a new framework for a customer relationship management system to meet the necessaryreporting requirements relative to sales, performance products, markets, and economic conditions.Lastly, in this role I was responsible for international travel to implement and oversee the tradeshowevents that I coordinated to examine the economic and industry trends. A transition in employment led me to Technical Consumer Products in Aurora, Ohio as Iserved as the Assistant Chanel Manager for the retail portion of the lighting industry. I wasresponsible for packaging creation and point of purchase displays including determining scope andbrand standards. I created and maintained marketing materials including spec sheets, brochures,catalogs and point of purchase materials as well as managed web-based graphics managementsystem. Additionally, I coordinated and participated in promotional activities and tradeshows,working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.I was also a key participant of the implementation of the TCP blog, writing, editing, andscheduling posts while interacting with commentators and promotional contests. A reduction inforce and elimination of my position led to the end of my time with TCP, Inc.
