Karim Orange (aka #thatgirlorange) is a native New Yorker.Her artistic expression has been fueled by a passion for the arts all of her life. Her training in the creative arts and passion for color have developed into a career in makeup artistry. Karim’s national reputation was established as a makeup artist on the ABC TV show “The View”. She has been honored with two consecutive Emmy nominations for Best Make-up Daytime Television. Karim refers to herself as a “make-up activist” using her talents to help women become empowered by their own unique beauty. She likes to educate all women regard- less of age, race, socioeconomic status or circumstance. She shares what she refers to as beauty moments with senior citizens, women in recovery, teenage girls or just the average woman in the supermarket. She believes that beauty truly is more than skin deep. Karim is currently the owner of Better Organic Choice where she sees’s clients and their current makeup bags in person, and on-line. She’ll examine what you have- explaining ingredients, keeping what’s healthy, seeing what works on you, and making suggestions for non-toxic and more natural products. Karim is fulfilling both a professional goal and a lifelong calling: to educate and empower every woman to look like the star of her own life, bringing out her most natural beauty by the healthiest means possible. In addition to her expertise as a makeup artist and educator, Karim also produces photo shoots,and videos. Top sustainable companies in the industry also employ her as a social media strategist. She currently blogs for both Huffington Post and Organic Spa Magazine on several topics.
