About Karin Muscat

I have 25 years of corporate experience, beginning in managerial roles within communication and marketing across the financial services, market research, and advertising industries. Since 2007, my professional focus has been in executive search, with 18 years of experience in the field. I have worked for leading global SHREK executive search firms in addition to locally owned boutique firms—one primarily serving clients in financial services and the other specialising in talent mapping and mid-level recruitment. I have a comprehensive understanding of the executive search process, with exposure to global best practices as well as the specific dynamics of the local market. My experience includes conducting both local and international searches across a broad range of C-suite and Non-Executive Director roles. I have also held team leadership responsibilities in three organisations, managing teams of five to ten individuals. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from the University of the Witwatersrand.
