As Executive Creative Producer of Squeak E. Clean Studios’ Australia, Karla Henwood fuses 25 years of advertising experience with a passion for music, artistry and talent. Her career is widely celebrated, in 2023 sits in the top 50 Women in Media, in 2021 at the inaugural 'Best of The Best' Awards, Karla won both the "Mentor" category and took out the Grandprix 'Adlander of the Year' Award. Prior to this she was awarded 2019 industry “Mentor” and 2018 “Creative Producer of the Year” at B&T Magazine’s Women in Media Awards. As a driving force behind a raft of award-winning work at Squeak E. Clean Studios, Karla is responsible for nurturing talent at the global audio powerhouse, playing a transformative role in bolstering the company’s international service offering across its six studios throughout her fifteen year tenure. Karla led the Australian studios to produce numerous Gold, Silver & Bronze awards, Cannes Lions-winning campaigns. In 2022 and 2023 the studios have been awarded and credited across all the International Awards - LIA, One Show, Cannes, D & AD, Spikes, AICP & Adfest for work including Budweiser "Yours To Take", The Australia Navy "Audio You Can See", Aware Super "Aware", Toyota "Metamorphosis", Macpac "Precarious". Marking her ongoing support of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, Karla founded Chicks in Advertising (CIA), an industry network for women that she launched in 2014.
