About Karoline Drews

As Head of Marketing & Business Development at Neural Sense I lead business growth initiatives and guide our marketing and strategic direction. My role bridges science and business by strengthening our brand presence, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring our insights deliver measurable impact across industries. As an Applied Neuroscience Consultancy, Neural Sense empowers companies to optimise customer experiences through neuroscience by utilising brain monitoring; eye-tracking and biometric technologies. Neural Sense enables companies to better understand, affect and elevate customer behaviour and decision making. Our mission is to create more intuitive, human-centred experiences by leveraging neuroscience. Before joining Neural Sense, I worked as a Research Analyst at Clifftop Colony, a strategic advisory firm, where I developed skills in business research and operational management, laying a strong foundation for my strategic responsibilities. I’ve worked in a pharmaceutical lab at the University of Michigan and hold a BSc in Biology and Psychology from the University of Cape Town, with additional certifications in Bioethics and Consumer Neuroscience. Originally from Germany, I’ve also lived in Singapore, Japan and now in South Africa. These are experiences that have shaped my passion for exploring new cultures and strengthened my ability to adapt to different environments. I’m a people-oriented, curious, and purpose-driven individual with a strong interest in improving human health and experience through the responsible application of science. I thrive in environments that value creativity and collaboration — and I’m always excited by opportunities to grow and make a lasting impact.
