About Karsten Maj

I am a Mechanical engineer and started in the oil business in 2002. I have had several positions during my career, both offshore and onshore. The keywords in all positions have been leading other people and having a high responsibility for safety (people and environment), budgets and deadlines. Throughout my career I have been on several leadership courses to strengthen and further develop my skills as a leader. I find it very inspiring to lead people in order to obtain a safe and effective production, and where safety becomes a natural thing for all involved, which includes both internal and external personnel. Personal info • Born 23/6-1971. • I have three children in the age of 22, 20 and 17. • I am living nearby Vejle, Denmark. • In my spare time I like to spend the time with my children.
