When you're named after an Olympic gold medallist, you are pretty much destined to work in the sports business. Unfortunately for me, I never possessed any of Katarina Witt's skill on figure skates, but I have always had a passion for sports, both amateur and professional. Through different internships, contracts, and jobs, I have had the opportunity to work with teams, leagues, tournaments, athletes and sponsors from grassroots all the way up to TOP Olympic partners. Each role has provided incredible experience, as well as the unmatched excitement of working in the sports industry. I approach every opportunity with the passion, dedication, and competitiveness of an athlete, and love the chance to work with amazing teammates. Even in my downtime, I find myself immersed in sports. Whether it's cheering on my hometown Toronto teams, reading any books about the business, or running sport development programs for kids in South Africa, I'm never far from the field, the ice, or anywhere games are played.
