Background
About Kate Francis
I am the programme producer on the Eden live team at the Eden Project in Cornwall. This role covers the seasonal onsite event production and project management. As part of this role, alongside the small team, I design, install and deliver the events; design educational activities for families, programme other seasonal events such as food festivals and beer festivals, budget manage, book and liaise with contractors and designers and ensure the events run smoothly for the visitors. This position requires me to be capable of many tasks, from office tasks to wall papering, constructing and set dressing to general people management. I’m also the co owner of Countdown Coins, a new family Christmas tradition that uses beautifully engraved coins to deliver Christmas magic throughout 12 days within December. This project was created through a successfully funded Kickstarter in 2020 and we went on to completely sell out during that Christmas. For more information you can discover our website at or @countdowncoins on Instagram or Facebook
