Adaptable and results-driven professional with a background in machine learning, deep learning, data science, linguistics, and familiarity of data engineering tools. A quick learner with excellent work ethic, known for being personable and highly organized. Seeking a challenging position to apply my analytical skills to solve real-world problems and to expand my skill set as a part of a collaborative team that will encourage my drive for learning. Initially fell in love with the study of Linguistics, and sought to branch out into Natural Language Processing to continue working with language data. I started my journey with a Big Data Analytics certificate at TMU where I learned Statistics, data management, programming with R and Python, and was introduced to machine learning. After trying my hand at sentiment analysis, I wanted to explore machine learning and deep learning further at George Brown College, where I was amazed by what I could build and accomplish with my projects in the Applied AI Solutions Development program. Proficient with Python libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, NLTK, CV2, Tensorflow and PyTorch) for machine learning, NLP and computer vision applications, building predictive models and generating actionable insights and visualizations. My experience also includes database management, big data analysis with SQL using platforms like MySQL, and BigQuery, and familiarity with a variety of tools-Fine tuning Hugging Face LLM models for NLP applications and building NN/RNN models from scratch -R for statistical analysis and visualizations -Cloud computing: running Azure virtual machine through command line using Apache Hadoop -ETL pipeline development: Practical applications of using Tableau Prep Builder to streamline data flow -Data visualizations: proficient in Tableau, R and Python libraries (matplotlib, plotly, seaborn)-Familiarity with virtualization: Oracle VM -GitHub (including some CI/CD)
