About Katia Kanner

I am an undergraduate student at Moorpark College currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Kinesiology and General Health. I hold an eCornell Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and recently graduated from my Integrative Nutrition program as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I am currently pursuing a Personal Training certification from the American Council on Exercise. I also have completed two relevant college courses: CPR/First Aid/Emergency Procedures & Anatomy. I am currently taking Physiology and Kinesiology classes. My career and personal interests lie in the nexus of communication, media, art, and wellness (personal, global and environmental health). My hobbies include oil painting, weight-lifting, yoga, swimming, scuba diving, and all things nature-related. I have been fortunate to pursue opportunities in California, Colorado, Thailand, Australia and Fiji. My work has focused on sustainable development, health and wellness, and media communication. I am a passionate, hardworking individual looking to apply my education and experience to a rewarding job promoting human, animal and/or environmental health and wellness.
