About Katie Augustine

Katie Augustine has dedicated the last decade of her career to empowering people to live more authentic, purposeful lives. As a Life Coach and Inspirational Speaker, she has guided of clients through personal transformation. Katie’s coaching blends spiritual principles with strategic skill sets and action steps. In 2018, Katie joined the Brave Thinking Institute™ as a Senior Coach and Faculty Member. Katie has been an Earth and animal advocate her entire adult life. Even as a child, Katie loved her backyard swing set in the woods, always feeling connected with nature! This passion led her to become ordained as a Minister of Walking Prayer™ in 2009 with a focus on Indigenous teachings. Katie is also a Maitri Breathwork™ Facilitator through the Center for Sacred Studies, a Certified Energy Codes Facilitator®, a Reiki practitioner, and a social commentary poet. In 2012, Katie was certified as a Life Mastery Consultant® and built a thriving personal development coaching business. In 2018 she was invited to serve the Brave Thinking Institute as a Senior Coach, supporting to-be and certified coaches in establishing their businesses. As an attorney, Katie led a successful 22-year regulatory risk and compliance career in the financial services industry. During this tenure, some of Katie's roles included serving as a Director with Treliant Risk Advisors, and as the Fair & Responsible Banking Program Manager for KeyBank NA. One of Katie's many areas of expertise was Governance, Risk and Controls, supporting banks to assess and manage regulatory risk. More recently, Katie founded ECS Evolve Consulting Services by merging her ecological interests with her risk expertise. ECS Evolve supports conscious entrepreneurs and organizations in reducing their climate footprint and expenses by implementing sustainable solutions through environmental assessments and frameworks. Katie’s mission is two-fold: to support people in living their dreams and to raise awareness for the global collective. She envisions an evolution on our planet in which humanity and the many ecosystems and species thrive in harmony with one another. Katie has spoken to audiences of on stages and virtually. She loves travel and pilgrimages, reading romance novels, and writing including poetry where she expresses her frustration with current systems and her vision for future generations. She has socialized and homed 100s of cats with her partner Bill Boronkay, a stand-up comedian and former sportscaster who is too humble to ever mention his 5 Emmy Awards.
