About Katie Evans

Since starting off my HR career in construction over 20 years ago, I have moved into other industries including, Retail and Manufacturing, giving me a wide variety of skills in different sectors, before my transition into Twin Oaks. I have been involved in projects including, succession planning, job restructuring, redundancy and TUPE, along with a strong focus as a generalist/ER professional throughout my career, which we at Twin Oaks believe is an important, fundamental element to effective HR department. Myself and my business partner, Kelly Page are passionate about helping SME’s thrive and grow through offering pragmatic and personal advice. With our varied HR skills and knowledge, we can offer a comprehensive HR solution to your business by ensuring you are HR compliant and have the basic HR processes in place. We believe this is fundamental for any organisation to enable them to grow in the right direction in an ever-changing world of employment legislation. Basic HR processes such as contracts and handbooks are not the only elements which are important in the HR function, it is about getting the culture right for your business, attracting the right people, supporting them and then taking them on your journey. Twin Oaks want to give you the confidence and skills through coaching and mentoring to enable you to effectively implement and manage your core HR process’s, whilst supporting you on those specialist projects and processes.
