With over 15 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, I have developed and honed expertise in implementing, and managing complex systems. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a wide range of technologies, including Windows Server, VMware, virtualization, Cisco UCS and cloud-based solutions, to ensure that organizations run efficiently and securely. My experience spans across various sectors, where I have contributed to improving system reliability, enhancing performance, and optimizing IT resources. I am passionate about leveraging my technical expertise to deliver solutions that align with business needs and support growth • Datacenter Compute and Virtualization- Indepth knowledge of Windows server x86 architecture & VMware virtualization in implementing IT infra setup & experienced in onboarding new tenants using Platespin migrations. • Hardware Architecture – Experienced in Cisco UCSM build & operations, Blade & Rack serve build & administration. Proficient in managing storage migrations from Old to new arrays (VMAX to PMAX/Pure storage) • Datacenter Operations – Handson experience compute activities like DIMM replacement/upgrades, motherboard replacements, patch paneling, hardware refresh activities, etc. • Virtual Infrastructure Management: Installation, Configuration, Administration & troubleshooting ESX/ESXi, vCenter server. Performing patch updates & vulnerability remediations • Physical & Virtual Networking: Creation of IP pools, VLAN groups in CISCO UCSM. Configuring standard & distributed vSwitches, Port groups, configuring uplinks on hardware and virtual layer and accordingly configuring logical layer on VMware vCenter and ESXi • Virtual & Physical Storage: Configuring SAN targets & policies, configuring boot & data luns to logical layer datastores. Expanding datastores & configure multipathing on ESXi & MPIO for physical servers. • Platespin & Carbonite – Migrating on-prem infrastructure using Platespin & Carbonite. • Managing OpenStack infrastructure for multiple tenants. • IT Security: Trend AV Solutioning, Patch Management & Vulnerability Remediations • Disaster Recovery solution design VMware Site Recovery Manager and Implementations • Working on a project for Data Centre Consolidation (DCC) and Management for converting P2V and V2V. • Managing DNS and DHCP, IP assignment and issues related to registry and host entries. • Completed two transitions in United Kingdom & Australia for End User Computing
